Top 5 Photography Places in Houston Texas

Finding the best photography spots can be hard and since we travel all over the country photographing weddings, we like to share our secret spots! Some are great for a wedding party or portraits but be creative and make them your own!

1. Honeymoon Cafe and Bar

{300 Main St, Houston, TX 77002}

This is a perfect couple spot! There is seating outside along the windows as well as inside. We used this location as a place for the couple to relax and take a break from all the stress and hustle of their day, while still getting adorable photos of them interacting! The cafe even allowed us to take photos of their coffee's being made but they were skeptical of our videographer taking video so make sure you get permission prior to bringing cameras into the cafe. We would highly recommend this location!

2. Mosbacher Bridge

{510 Preston St, Houston, TX 77002}

We LOVED this spot! Our clients loved Houston and wanted a picture with the heart of the city. It was perfect for the full wedding party! There is a sidewalk that wraps in front of the bridge so you are able to get a perfect shot of the group and the city in the background. This sidewalk is a little lower than the bridge so you are able to ignore any cars or pedestrians walking down the street.

3. Sesquicentennial Park

{510 Preston St, Houston, TX 77002}

Right below the Mosbacher Bridge, there are walkways that have a beautiful line of trees. We did a walking scene, close ups with the couple in this location as well as wedding party shots. There is so much variety. Just be cautious... this walkway is very busy with bikers, walkers and joggers.

4. Market Square Park

{341 Travis St Houston Texas}

This park is a little square park right in the middle of downtown. You are able to get trees, waterfalls and flowers with skyscrapers in the background. There is also a bed of flowers on the other side of the waterfall that would be perfect for a sitting pose. We only photographed the couple here to create an intimate mood but you would have room to photograph large groups of people as well. Great spot!

5. Cascade at The Wortham

{8 Prairie St, Houston, TX 77002}

This spot is a circular arrangement of bricks that has neat stairs leading up to it and a waterfall in the summer. This brick structure allows for beautiful natural light and a stage for some fun group shots. The Cascade overlooks the Sesquicentennial Park and has a variety of different areas for photographs.
